Hospitality Rising

The motion

That the Parliament notes the launch of Hospitality Rising; welcomes what it sees as this imaginative industry owned, led and funded social media recruitment campaign; supports the ambition of the campaign to attract more young people to consider careers in hospitality across the diverse roles available, and considers that this is an important development in tackling what it sees as the chronic workforce shortages across the sector, which UKHospitality Scotland, a campaign partner, has estimated to be is as high as 30,000 vacancies.
