Allanwater Brewhouse in Bridge of Allan Recognised at the Scottish Thistle Awards 2022

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the news that Bridge of Allan pub has received a prestigious award in the Scottish Thistle Awards 2022; acknowledges that the Allanwater Brewhouse took Best Scottish Pub (Central, Fife and Tayside) during the Central, Fife and Tayside and Lothian and Borders Regional Final joint awards ceremony at Prestonfield House, Edinburgh on 27 October 2022; considers that the Scottish Thistle Awards is an annual event organised by VisitScotland and based on five regional competitions, with the gold medal winners progressing to the national finals; believes that it is a great honour to be recognised as a contributor to food and drink tourism in Central Scotland; understands that Allanwater Brewhouse is known for providing an authentic food and drink tourism experience and strives to offer true Scottish hospitality, and congratulates everyone at Allanwater Brewhouse on their sterling endeavours.
