CHAS Memory Walk Takes Place at Loch Lomond Shores
The motion
That the Parliament commends the charity, CHAS Robin House, of Balloch, for arranging a first-of-its-kind Memory Walk for bereaved families who have lost children; notes that over 100 people took part in a 3km walk and families were given a hand-painted pebble to mark the day; appreciates that the lasting memory of the day was in the form of a tree planted in the grounds of Loch Lomond Shores; understands that the walk was an opportunity to bring bereaved families together and to create new memories with loved ones; praises the support that CHAS offers with its palliative care at its hospice in Balloch, and wishes the team every success in arranging a similar event in the future.
