Ryan Bond Raised £4,000 for Rotary International’s End Polio Now Campaign

The motion

That the Parliament commends Ryan Bond, with the Rotary Club of Banchory-Ternan, for his successful fundraising efforts toward Rotary International’s End Polio Now campaign; understands that the fundraising was accomplished through driving his 1931 Austin Seven 1,000 miles in July 2022, for which people could donate through JustGiving or other offline means; further understands that Ryan surpassed his goal of £1,000 and ended up raising £4,000; recognises that, although his drive was completed in July, the work to end polio will continue and that people continue to leave donations on his JustGiving page; appreciates Ryan’s worthy undertaking, and wishes the End Polio Now campaign success as it continues to contribute to the eradication of the polio disease.
