Scottish Catholic Education Week
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes Scottish Catholic Education Week, which takes place each year from the Feast of St Margaret of Scotland on 16 November, until the Feast of St Andrew on the 30 November; understands that the theme of the synod is "Communion, Participation, Mission" and that the Catholic Church in Scotland will be encouraging schools, parishes and other agencies to work closely together in order to celebrate the successes of Catholic education, and recognises what it sees as the valuable contribution that Scottish Catholic education makes to the education of young people across Scotland.
