Raith Rovers Football Club Supports Kirkcaldy Charity’s Lifeline Christmas Appeal
The motion
That the Parliament commends Raith Rovers Football Club after partnering with local charity, the Cottage Family Centre, and calling on fans to give generously to help boost their Lifeline Christmas Appeal; understands that the Cottage Family Centre provides a range of support to families and individuals who are vulnerable to social exclusion as a result of poverty, unemployment and other factors; notes that the appeal needs to raise £45,000 to support those in need over the festive period by providing families with food parcels, presents and household items; believes that Raith Rovers is an important pillar of Kirkcaldy’s local community, with this Christmas appeal showcasing the good work that the club does, and wishes both Raith Rovers and the Cottage Family Centre all the best for their Christmas appeal.
