Marion Gilliland is Scotland Loves Local 2022 High Street Hero

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Cumnock’s Marion Gilliland on being named High Street Hero at the Scotland Loves Local Awards held on 16 November 2022; notes that Marion is a member of the Cumnock Business Association and has run her family gift shop, Presents and Correct, in the local area for more than 30 years; understands that over the years, Marion has secured tens of thousands of pounds of improvements for fellow local businesses; further understands that she also champions charitable causes and raised more than £24,000 for MND Scotland through gift wrapping fees in her store; commends Marion for all the work she does within her community, and wishes her continued success and growth.
