National Lottery Community Fund Supports Local Organisations
The motion
That the Parliament commends the National Lottery Community Fund for providing funding to several Kirkcaldy constituency organisations; understands that the National Lottery Community Fund supports communities to thrive with funding from the National Lottery and that the funds are distributed on behalf of National Lottery players, who raise more than £30 million each week for good causes throughout the UK; recognises that, thanks to National Lottery players, £588 million of life-changing funding was raised during 2021 to be provided to communities across the UK; notes that five organisations within the Kirkcaldy constituency have received funding, totalling almost £139,000; further notes that these organisations are the Craigencalt Westside Allotment Society, Equal Voice, Fife Deaf Club, Pink Saltire and the Royal Burgh of Kinghorn Community Council; thanks the National Lottery Community Fund for its funding, and wishes all five Kirkcaldy constituency organisations all the best for the future.
