Team Mouat Clinch Third European Curling Title

The motion

That the Parliament warmly congratulates Scotland’s Team Mouat after they clinched their third men’s European Curling Championship title in Ostersund, Sweden, on 26 November 2022, having edged past Switzerland to retain their crown following skip Bruce Mouat executing a double runback with the final stone of the tenth end to take victory; recognises what it sees as the marvellous contribution made by Grant Hardie, Bobbie Lammie and Hammy McMillan in achieving this latest success, coming just months after the team, who also formed the Men's Team GB at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, gained a silver medal at the tournament, and wishes the team further success in the coming months.
