South of Scotland Golden Eagle Project Named Scottish Project of the Year in the National Lottery Awards

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the South of Scotland Golden Eagle Project on being named Scottish Project of the Year in the National Lottery Awards; understands that the project has seen the majestic species flourish in the Scottish Borders, with numbers at a 300-year high; acknowledges that, given that the species takes nearly five years to mature, the project is likely to see more success in the coming years as a result of the work they have been undertaking over the last few years, and wishes them well for their future work in reviving the iconic birds of prey in the South of Scotland.
