South Ayrshire Council County Buildings Accredited as Safe Space for Breastfeeding

The motion

That the Parliament acknowledges South Ayrshire Council on signing up to the national Breastfeeding Friendly Scotland Scheme; understands that the scheme is universally recognised and aims to promote public breastfeeding, removing any stigma and providing mums with confidence and support; further understands that South Ayrshire Council County Buildings is the first of the council’s buildings to partake in the scheme; understands that there are future plans to introduce the scheme to more of its buildings across South Ayrshire, and encourages others to get involved.
