Living Alloa Shines in the 2022 SURF Awards

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the news that Living Alloa won the Improving Scotland’s Places category at the prestigious 2022 SURF (Scotland’s Urban Regeneration Forum) Awards for Best Practice in Community Regeneration, on 8 December 2022, at a celebratory presentation event in Glasgow’s Voco Grand Central Hotel; acknowledges that, in response to many challenges, Clackmannanshire Council, the entire local community, its businesses and the third sector have rallied together to move forward on what it sees as the myriad social, environmental and economic issues faced by the town centre, and congratulates everyone involved in the Living Alloa Project, which is an excellent collaboration involving Clackmannanshire Council, Clackmannanshire Third Sector Interface and Alloa First.
