Asda Alloa's Green Token-Giving Funding Winners

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the latest tranche of Asda Foundation Green Token-Giving Funding by Asda Alloa; congratulates Breathe Easy Clackmannanshire as winner of the customer vote to receive £500; commends Community House Limited on its receipt of £400, in addition to Wellbeing Scotland, which receives £300; understands that the work of the Asda Foundation, which is an independent charity providing grants to a range of good causes in Scotland, is augmented by the Green Token Giving programme, which invites nominations from the people and communities that are served by local good causes; believes that, to achieve this, the Asda Foundation offers several different funding streams for local community projects, which give its customers the chance to vote for projects that matter most to them, and commends everyone involved in their sterling work for the benefit of their communities.
