Highland Rugby Club Veterans Make Donation for MFR Cash for Kids Charity

The motion

That the Parliament commends Highland Rugby Club veterans for embarking on a 100 Christmas Gifts for Kids fundraiser earlier in 2022; notes that the team has collected over £4,000 worth of items for the MFR Cash for Kids Mission Christmas appeal, including rugby balls, Highland RFC T-shirts, footballs, tents, books and other gifts; understands that the money was raised thanks to the sale of Highland Rugby Club whisky, as well as through donations from veterans, and recognises that, as part of the 100th anniversary of Highland RFC, the club set out to do 100 good deeds in the community in 2022, which also included delivering 100 food hampers for the homeless and elderly.
