Fife Alcohol Support Services (FASS) Celebrates £10,000 in National Lottery Funding
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Fife Alcohol Support Services (FASS) after being awarded £10,000 in National Lottery funding to help support individuals, families and communities affected by alcohol or other substance misuse; believes that FASS supports more than 1,500 individuals per year, through individual, community, group and family work; understands that FASS will use the grant to refurbish new headquarters in Hill Street, Kirkcaldy, making what it considers the most uplifting environment for staff and clients as possible; further understands that the charity’s new office will officially open early in 2023, with space for staff teams, client counselling, group work and training; commends FASS for its dedication in helping those who are affected by substance abuse, and wishes it all the best for the future.
