UHI Cookery Students Raise £200 for Two Charities

The motion

That the Parliament commends staff and students from UHI North Highland’s professional cookery and hospitality department for donating to two charities after raising money through an event earlier in 2022; understands that hot and cold lunch options were offered to staff, students and members of the public in return for a small donation, which resulted in the event raising £200, and believes that the money raised has been split equally between Thurso Community Development Trust (TCDT) and German Shepherd Rescue Scotland, two charities which were chosen by the students.
