The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Andrew Crummy MBE, of East Lothian, on his inclusion in the New Year Honours List 2023 for services to art and cultural heritage; considers that the artist has worked on a number of large-scale public projects, including the Great Tapestry of Scotland, the Battle of Prestonpans Tapestry, the Scottish Diaspora Tapestry and the Scottish Parliament’s People’s Panel, and expresses its gratitude to Mr Crummy for his art, which it considers resonates with the people of East Lothian, Scotland and beyond.
