SaxaVord UK Spaceport and RFA Sign Launch Operations Partnership

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the announcement by Shetland’s SaxaVord UK Spaceport of its launch operations partnership with Rocket Factory Augsburg (RFA); understands that the agreement will mean that RFA has exclusive access to Launch Pad Fredo for orbital launches, with the company’s first launch of its RFA ONE launch system currently planned for the end of 2023; further understands that this could be the first vertical launch from a UK site, taking place from the northernmost point in the UK, and wishes both companies every success with the launch.
