Kelty Concert Brass Band Fundraises £2,600 for Kelty Gala 2023

The motion

That the Parliament recognises the fundraising efforts of Kelty Concert Brass Band, which fundraised £2,600 for Kelty Gala 2023; understands that this amount was raised from its two festive concerts in the local community before Christmas 2022; further understands that this money will be put towards the 2023 Gala, which is currently in the planning stages, including either a free-zone for local children and young people on the day of the Gala, or for performers such as pipe bands and dancers; notes that Kelty Gala Committee recently held its AGM and a new committee was appointed, which is planning to hold a volunteer drive; thanks the Kelty Concert Brass Band for its amazing fundraising effort, and wishes the band and Kelty Gala Committee all the very best for the future.
