Auchinleck Gym Owner Offers Cost of Living Support to Local Community

The motion

That the Parliament applauds Auchinleck’s Sharon McQuillan for her work in the local community; notes that Sharon owns ShapeShift Fitness Studio in Auchinleck, which offers fitness classes, use of gym equipment, and has a treatment room to offer massage and holistic therapies; understands that, during January 2023, Sharon has opened her gym twice a week to offer free soup, fruit and a hot drink for all, and use of the facilities to help anyone struggling by providing additional support; further understands that all instructors at ShapeShift Fitness Studio are qualified as GP referral and Level 4 Specialist Conditions Instructor and offer additional support and advice in all areas of health and fitness, lifestyle and mental health; commends Sharon for all the work that she does for the community in promoting mental health and cost of living support, and wishes her all the best in her future endeavours.
