Dyce in Bloom Gardening Club Receives Asda Foundation Funding

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Dyce in Bloom Gardening Club, which has been awarded £950 of funding from Asda’s store in Dyce, through Asda Foundation’s Empowering Local Communities grant; understands that Dyce in Bloom Gardening Club is a group of volunteers that organise activities such as litter picks, coffee mornings, as well as display and maintain flowers and hanging baskets in and around Dyce and in the Community Garden; notes that, in 2022, the Asda Foundation invested more than £800,000 in community projects and good causes in Scotland to make a real difference to the wider community; understands that during the festive period, Dyce in the Bloom Gardening Club hosted "Carols in the Garden" in the Community Garden, which provided an opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the festive season, and wishes all the volunteers a successful 2023.
