The motion

That the Parliament congratulates British Army Officer, Preet Chandi, also known as Polar Preet, on breaking a second world record in the course of an Antarctic trek; notes that the distance covered on the Antarctic course by Capt Chandi was 922 miles and was completed in 70 days and 16 hours, and further notes that this surpassed the world record for the longest solo and unsupported polar expedition by a woman, as well as exceeding the overall world record, which was set by retired Lieutenant Colonel Henry Worsley in 2015.
