Talisker Whisky Atlantic Rowing Challenge Completed by the Atlantic Guardsmen

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Atlantic Guardsmen on crossing the finish line of the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Rowing Challenge 2022; further congratulates the four members of the Atlantic Guardsmen, Max Lawrence, William Botes, James Tate and Roland Walker, on completing the challenge with a time of 39 days, 2 hours and 59 minutes on 20 January 2023; understands that all four men are serving members of the Scots Guards and completed the challenge to raise money for the Scots Guards and ABF The Soldiers' Charity, and further understands that the Atlantic Guardsmen have, so far, raised an impressive £38,000.
