Rhu and Shandon Community Centre Receives £42,283 in National Lottery Community Funding

The motion

That the Parliament commends the committee of the Rhu and Shandon Community Centre on receiving £42,283 from the National Lottery Community Fund; notes that the funding has been provided to create an edible community garden; understands that volunteers will plant fruit and vegetables to be used by local residents; appreciates the project's aims of improving physical and mental wellbeing, building better community connections and learning new lifelong skills, and wishes the committee every success for the project.
