Prestwick’s Harry Richardson Celebrates 105th Birthday
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Prestwick’s Harry Richardson on celebrating his 105th birthday; notes that Harry received a letter from His Majesty King Charles III and the Queen Consort for his birthday on 8 February 2023; understands Harry to be one of the few surviving bomber command pilots who joined the Royal Air Force at the start of the Second World War; notes that Harry moved to Prestwick to start work as an air traffic controller with his wife and family after the war; understands that, in 2008, Harry and his wife attended Ayr College where they became the eldest students on the computer studies course; further understands that he enjoys frequent walks and attending his local RAFA Club on Saturday evenings, and wishes him the best of health and many more birthday celebrations in the years ahead.
