Comrie Croft Thistle Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Comrie Croft on winning the prestigious Scottish Thistle Award in the category of Responsible Tourism; understands that Comrie Croft is located on a former farm and advocates responsible tourism practices in all of its activities by being carbon neutral, using renewable energy systems and undertaking rewilding projects; notes that the Scottish Thistle Awards celebrate innovation, collaboration and sustainable practices by highlighting businesses and events that grow the value of tourism and make places better for people to live in and visit; commends the Comrie Croft Director, Andrew Donaldson, and his team for their achievement, and wishes them continued success in the future.
