The Inaugural Stirling Business Awards 2023

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the news that Stirling’s independent business owners were recognised and rewarded at the city’s first Business Awards on the evening of 23 February 2023; understands that 10 awards were presented during the Stirling Business Awards ceremony, organised by Go Forth Stirling Business Improvement District and held at the Golden Lion Hotel in Stirling; further understands that the winners were chosen by the public, with more than 16,000 votes cast for nominated businesses during the run up to the event; commends everyone involved with the awards ceremony, which raised £1,850 for Strathcarron Hospice on the night; thanks the Stirling Highland Hotel, Fletcher’s Restaurant, Bar & Rooms, the Golden Lion Hotel, FrownDocs, and House of Henderson for donating the raffle prizes, and congratulates all the winners and nominees on their sterling endeavours.
