The motion

That the Parliament recognises that 2023 marks the 90th year of Netherlee Primary and that the school is celebrating the occasion in a number of different ways; acknowledges that Netherlee Primary officially reached 90 years old at the beginning of February 2023 and that the school has celebrated the milestone through a range of activities, including art projects, talent shows, parties and creating a large-sized "90" in the grounds of the school that was formed of all current pupils; understands that, as part of the 90-year celebrations, the school wants to hear from former pupils, teachers, parents, neighbours and staff about their memories of the school; recognises that this project has been titled "90 Years in 90 Minutes" and the aim is to put together a number of podcasts, which will last for 90 minutes in total; understands that a group of P7 leaders, known as the Tech Team, who have a strong interest in digital technology, are working very hard on the podcasts and that a number of episodes have already been produced; notes that the aim of the podcast initiative is to remember the history of Netherlee Primary and recall first-hand accounts of day-to-day life and events at the school over the decades; further notes that Netherlee Primary is located on Clarkston Road in Eastwood, and congratulates the school for organising a comprehensive programme of activities to mark the 90-year milestone.
