SSPCA Work in Fife

The motion

That the Parliament recognises the hard work of the Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SSPCA) in the Cowdenbeath constituency and the rest of Fife; notes that the SSPCA has 630 supporters and 3,630 members across Fife, who help support its work; understands that, in the past year alone, the SSPCA attended to 8,266 incidents across Fife on a range of issues; commends the SSPCA for reuniting 10 pets with their owners in that time; recognises that the SSPCA helped to rehome 223 animals in 2022, ensuring that they had a loving home to return to; understands that 2023 will be another busy year for the service and its teams, and wishes them all the very best for the future.
