Scottish Apprenticeship Week 2023

The motion

That the Parliament acknowledges Scottish Apprenticeship Week, which runs from 6 to 10 of March 2023; recognises what it sees as the vital role that apprenticeships play in supporting people, employers and the economy; considers that apprenticeships allow people from diverse backgrounds and abilities to gain and develop skills; notes the calls to increase the number of women and girls in apprenticeships; believes that apprenticeships have the potential to support economic priorities and renewal, including net zero ambitions, and notes the calls to promote the merits of work-based learning.
