Saints in the Community Initiative

That the Parliament congratulates the Saints in the Community initiative, which, it understands, is having a positive impact on residents living at Balhousie North Inch Care Home in Perth; notes that Saints in the Community is run by St Johnstone FC at its stadium, McDiarmid Park, Perth, with those who visit looking at and chatting about photographs of footballers from days gone by, sharing their memories and enjoying each other’s company; further notes that some residents from Balhousie North Inch Care Home have been attending the initiative, and have become regulars, with the sessions said to have had a positive and visible impact on their wellbeing, and wishes Saints in the Community all the best for the future.
