Stirling Business Awards Winners

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the winners of the inaugural Stirling Business Awards 2023, organised by Go Forth Stirling Business Improvement District and held on 23 February 2023, which saw 10 awards presented following 16,000 votes being cast; praises all 10 award winners, Creative Stirling and Made in Stirling (Outstanding Contribution to Stirling, sponsored by Cowane's Trust), Stirling Carers Centre (Charity of the Year, sponsored by the Thistles), Fletcher's (Restaurant of the Year, sponsored by Graham and Sibbald Surveyors), Nevermore Tattoo (Professional Service of the Year, sponsored by the University of Stirling Management School), Vera Artisan Bakery (Cafe/Coffee Shop of the Year, sponsored by STEP Scotland), Joanie's Music (Retailer of the Year, sponsored by the Fubar/Castle Leisure Group), Stirling Distillery (Visitor Attraction of the Year, sponsored by Retailers Against Crime), Kilted Kangaroo (Pub/Bar of the Year, presented by Nettl of Stirling), Tinkerbells Emporium (Unique Retailer of the Year, presented by Blackburn Communications), and FrownDocs (Hair and Beauty Business of the Year, presented by 17 Degrees Magazine); understands that the Stirling Business Awards ceremony was held on 23 February 2023 at the Golden Lion Hotel in Stirling, and further understands that the ceremony was compered by Central FM, and that the Red Hot Chilli Pipers entertained the attendees.
