RNIB Scotland to Commemorate Tremendous Service of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

The motion

That the Parliament notes that an event is being held on 15 March 2023 by RNIB Scotland to commemorate the tremendous service that Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II gave to blind and partially sighted people through her 70 year patronage of the Royal National Institute of Blind people; understands that the RNIB Chief Executive and Lord Provost of the City of Edinburgh will unveil a plaque, which dedicates a tree in memory of Her Late Majesty’s service, and looks forward to many more years of excellent work from RNIB Scotland.
