Scotland Junior Women Curlers Strike Gold at World Championships

The motion

That the Parliament warmly congratulates the Scotland Junior Women's Team on what it sees as a memorable triumph at the World Junior Curling Championships 2023, held in Füssen, Germany, from 25 February to 4 March 2023; notes that the team, skipped by Fay Henderson, from Dumfries, alongside her teammates, Robyn Munro, from Stranraer, Holly Wilkie-Milne, Laura Watt and Amy Mitchell, clinched the gold medal; notes that the victory came following what it considers to be an incredible two points steal in the last end of the final against Japan, and wishes the team continued success in the coming season.
