Aberdeen Lynx Ice Hockey Team Crowned Scottish National League Champions

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Aberdeen Lynx Ice Hockey Team on being named Scottish National League Champions season 2022-23 after a sensational home victory; notes that this was the first Scottish National League title won by Aberdeen Lynx; understands that the club was founded in 1992 as the City of Aberdeen Ice Hockey Club later becoming the Aberdeen Lynx organisation and with a focus on junior development through the Learn To Play (LTP) development programme; notes that several players have played for their country; further notes the outstanding contributions to the club made by coach, Jordan Leyden, team captain, Jack Durkacz and club committee, coaches and volunteers, and wishes all the players and fans further success in the future.
