The motion

That the Parliament commends the efforts of older residents at an independent retirement flat complex in Eastwood for their efforts in raising money for charity through knitting; notes that a group of friends and neighbours at Crathes Court, in Muirend, devoted significant amounts of time and worked late into the evening as part of the fundraising drive in order to make what it sees as an important contribution to the charity, Brain Tumour Research; acknowledges that Brain Tumour Research is fundraising to establish a network of seven sustainable Brain Tumour Research Centres of Excellence across the UK, and is focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours; understands that the older residents living at Crathes Court have organised a number of fundraising events in the past, including for Macmillan Cancer Support, and again commends them for their recent efforts to raise money for Brain Tumour Research.
