Lanarkshire Teen Takes Bronze Medal Glory from Dutch Open

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Lanarkshire teen, Ava Bett, on winning the bronze medal at a top-class taekwondo event in the Netherlands; recognises that the 15 year old, who competes in the Junior Female -59kg category for Wishaw-based club, Vision Taekwondo, was in action over the weekend of 10 to 12 March 2023, as she travelled to Eindhoven to compete in the Dutch Open, and notes that this event is a World Taekwondo International Ranking Event, which attracted over 1,500 competitors from all across the world.
