Queen’s Pallbearers Receive Royal Victorian Order

The motion

That the Parliament recognises the inclusion of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's pallbearers, from the Royal Regiment of Scotland, in a special Honours list under the Royal Victorian Order; notes the important role that the soldiers played in Her Late Majesty the Queen's Lying-at-Rest in Edinburgh; commends all the members of the armed forces who took part in Her Late Majesty the Queen's Lying-in-State and funeral procession, and recognises what it sees as the strength, discipline, and effort given to this task by young soldiers such as Eyemouth lad, Pte Graeme Thompson.
