Celebrating Oban Lifeboat Crew’s Century of Service

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Oban lifeboat crew’s collective service of 100 years to the RNLI; thanks the lifeboat’s full-time coxswain, Ally Cerexhe, and the four volunteer deputy coxswains, David Isaac, Finlo Cottier, Mark Scott, and James Hardie, for their service and dedication; understands that they have spent several years on the crew and undertaken months of extra training and qualifications to reach a century with the RNLI, and wishes the team all the best as it begins training to operate a new Shannon class lifeboat, which is due to arrive in Oban later in 2023.
