Scotland Win World Men’s Curling Championships in Final Against Canada

The motion

That the Parliament commends the Scottish Men’s Curling Team after winning the World Men’s Curling Championships in Ottawa, Canada; notes that Scotland beat Canada in the final by 9-3 to take its first world title in 14 years; understands that Bruce Mouat captained the four-man team, which also includes Grant Hardie, Bobby Lammie and Hammy McMillan, to victory in the final; recognises what it sees as the incredible talent Scotland produces for the sport of curling, and wishes the team all the best for future competitions.
