Virginia Irvine-Fortescue Awarded Best Female Presenter at UK National Hospital Radio Awards.

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Virginia Irvine-Fortescue on being awarded the Best Female Presenter of the Year award at the UK National Hospital Radio Awards; understands that Virginia has volunteered for Grampian Hospital Radio since 2013, initially going round the wards collecting song requests from patients, before she then started presenting her own popular weekly Wednesday evening request show, In bed with Ginny; believes that this award is well-deserved recognition for what it sees as her excellent broadcasting and voluntary work, which has entertained patients in Grampian hospitals over the last 10 years, and commends all of those who give up their time to volunteer in hospital radio and those recognised at the National Hospital Radio Awards.
