Dean’s of Huntly Donates £2,609 to Two Local Charities

The motion

That the Parliament celebrates that Dean’s of Huntly has awarded Kayleigh’s Wee Stars and Mental Health Aberdeen £1,304.92; understands that this marks the return of Dean’s of Huntly’s charity partner scheme, following a break enforced by the global COVID-19 pandemic, and that the money was raised via a car boot sale and a collection box in the company’s gift shop, and believes that this donation will be put to excellent use by Kayleigh’s Wee Stars to provide financial support for families where a child has a terminal illness, and by Mental Health Aberdeen to support its work to increase access to mental health support across the north east of Scotland.
