Crossgates Primary Clean Up for LEAF Project

The motion

That the Parliament commends the students at Crossgates Primary School fororganising a litter pick in their local community; understands that this ispart of an outdoor learning pilot programme called Learning about Forests(LEAF); notes that over 350 members of the community took part, includingschool children, nursery children, community groups, parents and carers;congratulates the participants on being able to collect 73 bags of litter, andrecognises that this litter pick was a success and a great achievement by theschool children, teachers and local community.
