Stirling Farmers' Market Amongst Best In UK
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Stirling Farmers' Market on being named as Scotland's second best farmers' market, and the seventh best in the UK, in a recent UK-wide study by HelloFresh; understands that the study analysed 30 farmers' markets across the UK and scored them according to the following factors, frequency (monthly), length (in hours), number of trades and producers and ratings given by visitors to identify the best farmers' markets in the UK; notes that Stirling Farmers' Market was one of three Scottish farmers' markets to make the top 20, with the other two being Edinburgh Farmers' Market, which came third in the UK and Perth Farmers' Market, which came 11th in the UK; notes that Stirling Farmers' Market runs every second and fourth Saturday of each month in Port Street, in Stirling city centre, and wishes Stirling Farmers' Market and all other Scottish farmers' markets continued success moving forward.
