Loch Lomond Steamship Company Receives Substantial Grant from the Paddle Steamer Preservation Society

The motion

That the Parliament applauds the Loch Lomond Steamship Company on receiving a grant from the Paddle Steamer Preservation Society (PSPS) to further assist in the completion of works; notes that the worldwide membership of the PSPS is supporting the restoration of the historic Maid of the Loch paddle steamer; understands that further support in the form of restoration volunteers is being provided by the organisation; further understands that a wooden-carved bow crest is also being commissioned for the steamer to match the original, and wishes the team every success in the completion of this historic ship.
