International Men’s Health Week 2023

The motion

That the Parliament notes that International Men’s Health Week takes place from 12 to 18 June 2023; understands that the week focuses not only on physical health, but also on men's mental health and emotional wellbeing; further understands that the overall aims of the week are to heighten awareness of preventable health problems for males of all ages, support men and boys to engage in a healthier lifestyle and encourage early detection and treatment of physical and mental health issues, and commends the organisations and peer support groups that are raising awareness and encouraging males to have their annual "Man MOT" and to open up about their emotions and feelings.
