Milngavie Youngsters Raise Money for Turkey-Syria Earthquake Appeal

The motion

That the Parliament applauds the more than £1,500 raised by a group of youngsters from the Early Years Centre in Kirk Street, Milngavie, for the Turkey-Syria Earthquake Appeal via the Children’s Emergency Fund; understands that the children, aged between two and five, helped to design and set up an obstacle course and raised money through sponsorship for completing the course, and notes that, as well as raising money for the Earthquake Appeal, the children also learnt about the earthquake disaster, the effect it had on the lives of so many adults and children and what the appeal was doing to support these people.
