Dalmellington’s Frank McHugh Crowned as Coronation Champion

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Dalmellington’s Frank McHugh, who has been chosen as one of 500 national Coronation Champions in the Coronation Champions Awards 2023; notes that the awards recognise the work of volunteers across the UK and celebrates their contributions to their communities; understands that Frank was recognised by Their Majesties The King and Queen, in conjunction with the Royal Voluntary Service, for his lifelong service to the 33rd Ayrshire Scouts group; further understands that Frank also celebrated his 80th birthday during the Coronation weekend; understands that each Coronation Champion received an official pin badge, a signed certificate from Their Majesties The King and Queen, and an invitation to one of the Coronation celebrations; applauds Frank for his years of volunteering, and wishes him all the best for the future.
