Macdonald’s of Alford Nominated for the Scottish Retail Food and Drink Awards 2023

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Macdonald’s of Alford on its nomination at the Scottish Retail Food and Drink Awards 2023; understands that the family-run business has made the shortlist for the Food – Small Producer award for its Sicilian lemon shortbread, which the family sell at their fine foods and gift shop; notes that the winners will be announced at a special ceremony on 25 May 2023 in Glasgow; wishes the nominees luck, and hopes that this nomination leads to even greater success in the future.
