Sports Kit for All Project Launched

The motion

That the Parliament commends Gordon Rural Action, in partnership with Live Life Aberdeenshire and others, for providing children’s sports equipment to the community; understands that the Sports Kit for All project administers a range of children’s sports equipment to anyone who may need it; further understands that the charity is building on the previous success of a similar programme, the Uniform Exchange scheme; congratulates the Gordon Rural Action charity on its successful launch event in April 2023; acknowledges what it considers to be the positive environmental impact that the project has by reusing equipment and reducing waste; notes that items can be donated at the Gordon Rural Action office in Huntly, and wishes the charity every success in the future with this project.
